Thompsons Africa has introduced a Tropical Ocean to Panoramic Peaks Tour.
The five-day tour, which departs between two and three times a month, starts in Durban and makes its way up to Johannesburg via the Midlands Meander, the Kingdom of Lesotho and the Drakensberg Mountains, a World Heritage Site.
In Durban, guests will enjoy an orientation city tour, a ride up the Moses Mabhida Stadium Sky Car for a panoramic view of the city and a stroll on the city’s famous Golden Mile.
Guests will travel to the Underberg for a 4x4 climb up the Sani Pass, and cross the border to the Kingdom of Lesotho and visit a Sotho tribal village to interact with the local people.
The tour will stop off at the Midlands Meander; a country area filled with quality arts and crafts enterprises.
Next stop is the Drakensberg’s Royal Natal National Park, which is renowned for its spectacular scenery and wonderful mountain trails for walkers and hikers. Guests will set off on an easy round-trip hike and tour at the site of 2000-year-old Bushman rock paintings.
The tour ends on day five in Johannesburg.
