On its second exhibition day in Cape Town, the International Luxury Travel Market (ILTM) Africa – taking place from April 9 to 11 – in partnership with the City of Cape Town, hosted buyers on curated luxury experiences in the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens.
Attendees participated in tastings of local Autograph craft gin, wine from Spier Wine Estate, and teas from Pure Leaf Tea, while being able to experience local luxury products from Africology and Healing Earth through product samples.
The experiences were designed as ‘luxury breakaways’ between business meetings and networking sessions, to give buyers a taste of some of Cape Town’s offerings, and allow them to connect with local suppliers in a beautiful setting.
Megan Oberholzer, Portfolio General Manager: Travel, Tourism & Sports at Reed Exhibitions South Africa, says host city partner, the City of Cape Town, pulled out all the stops to showcase the city’s luxurious experiences for ILTM Africa attendees. “Doing business in such a stunning setting is a phenomenal experience for our attendees and we’re grateful that the City of Cape Town continues to support us in bringing together Africa’s most luxurious properties and products with buyers from around the world, to help showcase the beauty of the continent.”
ILTM Africa attendees are able to extend their stay in Cape Town by using an exclusive discounted rate being offered to attend the fifth annual Condé Nast International Luxury Conference being held on April 10 and 11.
