Devil’s Pool at Victoria Falls will soon be closing for the season due to the high water levels. However, tour operators are offering tourists alternate activities.
Shane White, Chief Marketing Officer at Wild Horizons said Devil’s Pool is closing due to the fact that the river has risen to a level whereby it is no longer possible to swim in the pool.
However, Emmanuelle Moneger, GM of The Royal Livingstone Hotel, said operators typically sell trips to Angel’s Pool during the months that Devil’s Pool is closed.

Tongabezi Lodge, on the banks on the Zambezi River, Bushtracks Africa, a destination management company, and Livingstone Island Reservations, offer guests trips to Angel’s Pool as an alternate activity.
Ngosa Kalimaposo from Bushtracks Africa, added that despite being closed, the DMC still sells activities to Devil’s Pool such as high tea, which is served from 15:30-17:00.
