International bookings to Kenya are up, according to the latest data from ForwardKeys, which analyses reservation transactions daily.
According to the data, bookings made for the beginning of May onwards show that Kenya has seen a 27.7% increase in international arrivals.

The figures, which show international flight bookings to Africa for the European summer season are currently almost 6% ahead of where they were at this time last year.

Kenya’s growth in arrivals comes after the destination has suffered a slump following terror incidents in recent years.
The Daily Nation this week reported that figures from the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS) showed Kenya received 1.18 million tourists in 2015, a 13% decline on 2014’s figures.
