1. Africa Albida plans recreational development
African Albida Tourism will announce details of the development of Santonga, an 80ha education, entertainment and conservation park, set to open in Victoria Falls in 2017. These details will be revealed at Saturday’s Africa Albida function at 17h30 at ICC room 22.
Africa Albida Tourism will also update the trade on major upgrades and expansions of both Victoria Falls Safari Club, Victoria Falls, and Ngoma Safari Lodge in Botswana.
2. Wilderness Safaris to open new camp

Wilderness Safaris will announce the opening of the new Linkwasha Camp, in Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe.

3. First Radisson Red to open in South Africa

4. Namibia Exclusive plans new lodges

Namibia Exclusive will share updates on its four new luxury community-based lodges, opening in August. Each lodge has nine guest units, or 18 beds.

5. New sanctuary opens in Gansbaai

Gansbaai Tourism will introduce the trade to the new African Penguin and Seabird Sanctuary in the Overstrand area, built by the Dyer Island Conservation Trust and officially launched on February 26.
Although the facility was built for rehabilitation of marine birds, it also creates awareness around the birds. An auditorium equipped with a big-screen TV, which is linked up to the rehabilitation area – a bird hospital and the laboratory/clinic, will enable guests to see what is being done behind the scenes.

6. Panthera Africa

Panthera Africa, a sanctuary and rehabilitation centre for any captive-bred big cats, has opened in Stanford. Guests can experience educational visits and participate in voluntary work.
Panthera Africa will exhibit as part of the Wesgro stand D12 in DEC hall 1.
7. Stony Point Eco Centre

Wesgro will be introducing the trade to the Stony Point Eco-Centre, made up of a themed visitor centre, a restaurant called On the Edge and a heritage site pointing to the history of whaling at Stony Point.

8. Nomad Tours
