Drifters Adventure Tours has unveiled a new offering - Drifters Experiences, a product offering high-end, short-term tours, with the first programmes starting in 2020.
Christiaan Steyn, Marketing Manager of Drifters Adventure Tours, says the new offering of tours, which are all five to seven days, are aimed at clients with limited time to travel and want to do more than one journey a year, but in shorter bursts.
The offering is also more high-end that the operator’s other tours, while retaining the same style of travel. “We are still using our Drifters vehicles, but the service level is higher,” he says, adding the tours come at a higher price range. “Our average tours usually run at about €100 to €120 a day all-inclusive, while these go up to about €200 a day”
The accommodation is also a considerable upgrade on the standard Drifters’ tours, including serviced camping.
The new Drifters Experiences will include a 7 Day Safari & Beach Experience to Mozambique; 7 Day Unexplored Garden Route Experience; 6 Day Luxury Lower Zambezi Canoe Safari in Zambia; 9 Day Tag along Self-Drive South Africa; and a 5 Day Private Scheduled Moremi or Pans Safari in Botswana.
“The tours were received very well at Indaba and we look forward to running them in 2020,” says Steyn.
