Ethiopia’s largest conference facility, the Addis International Convention Centre (AICC), has officially opened – a significant step in the country’s efforts to be a leading destination for global conferences, exhibitions and business tourism.

Spanning 40 hectares, the AICC is designed to host large-scale events. The facility includes two major halls accommodating 3 000 to 4 000 attendees each alongside eight smaller meeting halls with total capacity for 10 000 people.

With modern infrastructure and state-of-the-art facilities, the AICC is expected to play a key role in driving economic activity within Ethiopia’s hospitality and tourism sectors. The venue is strategically located adjacent to Lemi Park.
