Saruni Basecamp has become the first group member of The Long Run, expanding its sustainability commitments across all 13 of its properties in Kenya.

This milestone builds on its 2020 membership, which initially included just four properties, to the entire portfolio.

Saruni Basecamp operates in six community-owned wildlife conservancies and is recognised for its community-based conservation approach. The group integrates sustainability into its operations, implementing solar power, wildlife monitoring, waste reduction and investments in renewable energy and local supply chains.
