The results of our latest poll indicate the introduction of a visa requirement for a range of previously visa-exempt countries appears to have negatively impacted bookings for travel to Namibia.
The policy officially came into effect on April 1, imposing a visa requirement on 33 countries, including all of Namibia’s top overseas source markets.
The largest proportion of poll respondents (42%) said bookings are affected by the visa requirement. Another 31% of respondents said bookings are not affected and 27% said they are “unsure”.
