Nico Vivier has been appointed Regional Director of Operations & Development for Minor Hotels in Africa.
With an extensive knowledge and strong foundation in hotel operations, he worked for world-renowned hotels such as Kempinski and Hyatt International Hotels before joining Minor Hotels.
Vivier started his journey with Minor Hotels in 2016 as EAM F&B for three Anantara properties in Abu Dhabi – Desert Islands Resort & Spa by Anantara, Anantara Al Sahel Villa Resort, and Anantara Al Yamm Villa Resort – then was promoted to Hotel Manager in the resorts.
Following his period in Abu Dhabi, where he was commended for excellent leadership, strategic planning, and forecasting, he moved to Avani Seychelles Barbaron Resort and Spa in 2019 as GM.
Phamotse Mokoena has been appointed eCommerce and Distribution Manager for the Africa region.
Mokoena is well-versed in business solutions, and is a business development professional and distribution specialist. He has honed his sales and marketing skills in both B2B and B2C strategies.
He has spent the past five years with booking.com and prior to that he worked with The Holiday Factory, &beyond travel and Tourvest Travel Services.
