The Tourism Green Paper has officially closed for public comment, but in a recent informal poll, industry has indicated that it is dissatisfied with the paper as it currently stands,
Only 4% of Tourism Update readers said they were satisfied with it as it is, and 58% voted that it needed amendment. The remaining 38% were ‘unsure’.
Barriers to WiFi access?
Insights from a recent Travel News (Tourism Update’s sister publication) poll revealed that good WiFi and stable connectivity were essential for 92% of corporate travellers. Yet, not all hotels get this right and travellers often complain to their agents that the WiFi at some hotels is sub-par.
This week, Tourism Update would like to delve a bit deeper by finding out what the biggest barriers are to WiFi access in sub-Saharan Africa.
