Great Plains Conservation has reopened its relocated luxury tented property, Duba Explorers Camp, previously known as Duba Expedition Camp.

The camp closed in December and was moved to the north of the Duba concession in an area known for regular sightings of a diverse range of species, including large herds of lechwe, kudu, tsessebe and giraffe.

Large herds of elephants and buffalo move around the camp, and hippos inhabit the swamps. Lions, leopards and hyenas make up the predator components. Leopards and a wide range of smaller nocturnal cats hunt around the fringes of the waterways and are often seen on night drives.

There are five expedition-style canvas tents on slightly raised decking, each with views of the surrounding floodplain. Activities include guided walks, boating and mokoro opportunities, and game drives.
