Botswana Investment and Trade Centre (BITC) has introduced free Wi-Fi at boarding areas of four major airports in the country.
Lebogang Mpete, Manager of Customer Relations, told Tourism Update that the Wi-Fi is limited to an hour for guests. “The Wi-Fi is free for an hour; after that it cuts you out.”
To access the W-Fi, there will be an Airport Wi-Fi dropdown menu. Select GoBotswana on the list, fill in and submit a brief questionnaire on the landing page, and then the Wi-Fi is connected. Wi-fi can be accessed through smart devices including tablets, smartphones and laptops.
The service is available at Sir Seretse Khama International airport in Gaborone, Kasane and Maun airports, as well as Francistown airport.
BITC exists to promote Botswana as a leading destination to visit, live in, to invest and trade in, with a focus on accelerated economic growth and diversification, employment creation and export development.
