Kavinga Safari Camp, an exclusive luxury camp in a private concession within the southern boundary of Mana Pools, is expanding its offering with addition of new two tented chalets.
Leah Beevor, Reservations & Marketing manager said the en-suite tents would have a veranda and could accommodate two adults and a young child.
“Each tented chalet has twin beds in each room, to accommodate two guests but an additional stretcher can be added for a young child,” Beevor said.
With the addition of the two new chalets, the luxury camp will now have seven chalets, which can accommodate up to 14 guests. The new chalets are expected to be completed by mid-May.
Due to the extremely wild nature of the camp, the minimum age for children is 10 and bush walks are restricted to 14-year-olds. However, guests who book out the whole camp are welcome to bring younger children if they wish.
The central dining and lounge area has two decks, providing a magnificent view across the dry riverbed and to the waterhole below. A hide offers close up views of game.
