Marriott International has announced a new travel programme, Marriott Bonvoy, with curated member-only experiences now available in South Africa.
The experiential platform offers members two distinctively South African offerings.
Swing for a Cause at the Marriott Bonvoy Golf Day
In association with Reach for a Dream Foundation, participants can bid their points for a round of golf at the 18-hole, par-72 Championship golf course at African Pride Arabella Hotel & Spa, Autograph Collection in Kleinmond. Held on May 10, the experience includes a one-night stay at the resort, a round of golf, live entertainment, and food and beverages throughout the day. All proceeds will be donated to the charity.
Mastering the South African braai
Point holders will learn the art of the South African braai (barbecue) in a masterclass given by celebrity Masterchef South Africa judge, Peter Goffe-Wood, and later enjoy the dishes at an exclusive chef’s table. The experience includes a one-night stay in a deluxe room at the Protea Hotel Fire & Ice! By Marriott Cape Town.
Neal Jones, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer, Middle East and Africa, Marriott International says: “The introduction of Marriott Bonvoy is a significant milestone for our company, and we are committed to elevating the Marriott Bonvoy programme by bringing members more of what they love most, whether they are at home or travelling. We are excited to bring these very special experiences that fuel the passions of our members in South Africa.”
