Seven things I hate that clients do…
1. When clients call you to say “I am going to send you an email.”
2. When after emailing, they call to say “I just sent you an email, will you look at it and respond?”
3. When after responding to their email, they call to ask if you responded to their email. When replying in the affirmative, they say, “Oh sorry, I haven’t checked my emails.”
4. When requesting a quote, they ask for all options for a specific route, when we already know our clients preferences, whether they are a certain airline’s mileage member, ect… You know they are going to book that airline only. Yet, you still need to quote all 10 000 options that are available.
5. When they call you and then say, “Oh, now I forgot why I was calling” and proceed to chat to you about irrelevant things and finally end by saying, “When I remember what it was, I will call you back”.
6. When they wait until just before closing time and then call you and say they need to make an urgent booking and when given the dates, you find out it’s actually only for next year .
7. My Favorite! When after quoting them, they shop around and come back saying, “’So and so’ at another agency gave me a quote that is R10 cheaper. Can you beat that?”
