Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Wait, yes, that’s a plane!
Taiwanese airline, EVA Air, has launched three Hello Kitty-themed aircraft that feature the Hello Kitty motif, not just on the outside but on everything, from boarding cards to Kitty-shaped check-in counters.
Passengers world-wide love the Hello Kitty jets, with all the themed aircraft having between 85% and 90% occupancy, says Liwen Liu, pr officer of Evergreen Group, parent company of EVA Air.
The new Taipei-based aircraft – following the themes of Hello Kitty Happy Music Time and Hello Kitty Speed Puff – will join the three existing Hello Kitty jet family members and will operate on various routes from Taipei.
The Happy Music Time and Magic jets fly to Sapporo and Guam. Speed Puff flies to Hong Kong, Apple Jet to Seoul and Fukuoka, and Global Jet serves Hong Kong and Tokyo.
