Mack Air is partially replacing part of its current fleet, with delivery of 10 new 13-seat Cessna Grand Caravan EX turboprops under way.
Michael Weyl, Operations Manager told Tourism Update that the new fleet was expected to reach South Africa in the first week of December and would start flying in Botswana in the first quarter of next year.
Mack Air provides charter, cargo and logistical services between a network of independently owned bush safari lodges in the Okavango Delta and Kalahari Plains regions of Botswana. It owns and operates 23 aircraft.
