Evan Badenhorst has been appointed MD of ANEW Hotels & Resorts, effective from  November 1. The appointment, a new position within the group, marks his transition from his three-year role as ANEW’s Financial Director.

In 2020, he joined ANEW Hotels & Resorts as Financial Director, bringing with him his exceptional problem-solving skills, expertise in crafting efficient systems, and an innate ability to foster cohesive teams to drive organisational growth.

According to Armour, Badenhorst played an essential role in steering ANEW Hotels & Resorts through the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. “Under his leadership, the organisation not only weathered the storm but also expanded its property portfolio from just three properties in 2020 to an impressive tally of 16 properties in 2023.”
