North West Tourism Board Chairperson, David Mogashoa, died on Sunday morning, November 20, after being admitted to hospital.

Mogashoa was passionate about tourism development in the province and would be missed particularly for his passion of unearthing untapped tourist attractions, said Desbo Mohono, North West MEC for Tourism.

Head of North West Department of Tourism, Adv. Neo Sephoti, also offered her condolences.

Chief Executive Officer of the North West Tourism Board, Loselo Segwe, said Mogashoa had been a very active member of the Board and demonstrated leadership qualities by providing strategic direction towards shaping the newly established North West Tourism Board after the split of the North West Parks and Tourism Board in 2014.
