Inspirational Places announces new leadership
Industry representation company Inspirational Places will transition to new ownership on April 1 with Allie Hunt handing over leadership to Peter Dros.
Dros, a well-known figure in the travel industry, brings extensive experience in sales and marketing, most recently at Cheetah Plains where he worked for three years. Prior to that, he served as Sales and Marketing Director of Fancourt for six years and has held key roles at Mala Mala, Sanctuary Retreats/Abercrombie & Kent and Sense of Africa.
Founded by Chris Weir in 1997, Inspirational Places was taken over by Hunt in 2008 who expanded the portfolio over the past 17 years.
“In what is yet another important milestone for Inspirational Places, I am very proud to hand the leadership over to Peter Dros,” says Hunt. “He is perfectly suited, uniquely experienced and globally connected to steer the company into an exciting next chapter.”
