Proflight Zambia will increase flights on its Livingstone-Lusaka route from April 1 to align with the start of Zambia’s safari season.
The updated schedule is as follows:
- Afternoon:
- Depart Livingstone at 12h20 and arrive in Lusaka at 13h30
- Depart Lusaka at 10h35 and arrive in Livingstone at 11h45
- Evening:
- Depart Livingstone at 18h20 and arrive in Lusaka at 19h30
- Depart Lusaka at 16h35 and arrive in Livingstone at 17h45
This schedule improves connectivity for passengers from Cape Town and Johannesburg as it reduces transit times and maximises opportunities to explore Victoria Falls and Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park.
Josias Walubita, Director of Flight Operations at Proflight Zambia, stated: “We are constantly monitoring travel demand and adapting our routes to provide better flexibility for our customers. The increase in flights between Livingstone and Lusaka will reduce transit times and improve connectivity, especially for international travellers.
“With Victoria Falls at its most dramatic in April and our national parks offering world-class safari lodges, this is the perfect time for travellers to experience Zambia’s natural beauty.”
