PROTEA Hotels is opening its third hotel in Bloemfontein – the four-star Protea Hotel Willow Lake – in December this year.

  The hotel is located next to the Bloemfontein Zoo and the new Lock Logan Waterfront and is only a short drive from the airport. It will have 94 king-size bedrooms, which can be turned into twin rooms. A 60-seat restaurant will offer breakfasts, light lunches and a la carte dinners. There will also be a conference room for 100 delegates.

  “Bloemfontein is increasingly popular with business and leisure travelers because of its central location and we decided to meet this demand and provide another offering for both sets of travellers,” says Danny Bryer, Protea Hotels’ marketing and revenue director.
