RwandAir has signed an agreement with Euroairlines to improve the distribution of its more than 30 domestic and international routes.
Euroairlines offers an alternative solution for global air distribution. Its accredited IATA Q4-291 plate is present in more than 60 countries. The agreement affords the African airline access to the Spanish company’s extensive network of travel trade agents, OTAs, aggregators and consolidators.
Euroairlines CEO Antonio López-Lázaro said the agreement will intensify and consolidate the significant growth experienced by RwandAir in recent years and be of mutual benefit to both companies.
RwandAir aims to double its fleet from the current 14 aircraft within the next five years. According to the national carrier’s annual financial statements, revenue exceeded US$461 million in the 2023/24 financial year – a rise of 82% from last year and 46% from 2019.
The carrier operates regular flights to 22 countries in Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
