Chief Operations Officer of South African Tourism, Sthembiso Dlamini, has been appointed Acting Chief Executive Officer.
Chairman of the Board, Siyabonga Dube, noted this in an internal letter shared with SA Tourism staff. Tourism Update understands the recruitment process for a CEO is still under way.
This follows Sisa Ntshona stepping down from his role at the end of May, ahead of his five-year contract ending in September.
Dlamini was Acting CEO for SA Tourism in 2019.
