Africa Tourism Partners (ATP) has welcomed the Southern African Association for the Conference Industry (SAACI) as its strategic partner for the Africa Business Tourism and MICE Masterclass, for the seventh time, this year.
SACCI has continued to assist ATP in delivering this training curriculum for Continuing Professional Development since its inception seven years ago.
The 7th annual pan-African MICE/Business Tourism Capacity Development and Continuing Professional Development Masterclass will be held from July 16 to 17 at the BDO Offices in Johannesburg.
Held in collaboration with BDO South Africa and a number of Industry partners, including the University of South Africa, South African Tourism, SITE Africa and more, this year’s programme will feature expert and insightful presentations, and interactive panel sessions focusing on industry-critical topics, while offering professional development, industry insights, networking and sales opportunities.
To date, the Masterclass has connected more than 1 200 African industry professionals, practitioners, youth, SMMEs and Convention Bureau as well as national tourism officials to learn, share experiences and knowledge, and expand their networks.
This year’s event will therefore build on the success of the 2018 to 2023 editions and continue to connect industry stakeholders to build valuable relationships, and expand their network, while learning directly from the global and renowned MICE and tourism experts.
Among the critical learning areas are insights on new business generation, business sustainability, bidding in MICE, professional development and more.
