The Hide Safari Camp in Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe, has been given a new look.
Kelly Wood, Marketing and Sales Manager of the camp, said: “We did extensive changes to our main A frame, which includes the restaurant, lounge, front deck, bar and swimming pool areas. Plus, we made some alterations to our two exclusive-use accommodation options. Tom’s Little Hide, which is our private safari house for families was internally renovated and The Private Hide which is our exclusive ‘camp within the camp’ received a brand-new swimming pool and deck area.”
The Hide Safari camp offers ten deluxe tents in the Main Hide plus Tom’s Little Hide, the exclusive safari house. Facilities include a lounge area, bar, plunge pool, mini museum, small shop, upstairs viewing deck, a complimentary tree house sleep out, two underground hides (one with a unique tunnel access) and an underground wine cellar.
Activities include morning and afternoon guided walks (no under-16s are permitted on walking safaris), morning and afternoon game drives; night drives; and ‘hide sits’ around the pan. An overnight sleep-out in the Dove’s Nest tree house is also available.
