ASTA, the South African International Business Linkages programme and the Tourism Enterprise Programme have partnered to present a one-hour networking event at ASTA's International Destination Expo (IDE).
The purpose of the event is to give South Africa's small and medium-sized black-owned tourism companies the opportunity to meet one-one-one and showcase their packages to US travel agents and tour operators.
“It can be difficult for small and medium-sized companies to make their mark as they are often overshadowed by the larger, better known industry names,” says ASTA president and chair, Chris Russo. “As a small-business owner myself I know first-hand that smaller firms can provide excellent customer service and individual attention to their clients and partners.”
The event will take place on March 10 from 12h15 to 13h15 at the Sun City Convention Centre.
