Singapore Airlines, which will reintroduce its Johannesburg-Singapore route on October 15 with a weekly service, will increase its frequencies to three times a week during November and December.
The airline has said that it plans to progressively increase services further on the Johannesburg route and re-extend its flights to Cape Town, as travel demand picks up.
Flight SQ478 will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays from November 2. The flights will depart from Singapore at 01h30, arriving in Johannesburg at 06h10. SQ479 will depart from Johannesburg on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays at 13h45, arriving in Singapore at 06h10 the next morning.
