A tour guide at the Omandumba San Living Museum in Namibia’s Erongo region has encouraged the preservation of their hunter-gatherer culture for younger generations.
The San community are known for their bow and arrow skills, fire-making, and using many different techniques to capture game and birds for survival.
The tour guide, Xao Kgau, told the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation that this was imperative to maintain and emulate, considering the digital world that is rapidly evolving.
The San Living Museum is reportedly one of the best tourist sites in the country, and the families who often rotate to the museum to educate tourists, make a living through these activities.
