Tourvest Destination Management has added new guided experiences to its 2019/2020 Scheduled Guided Tour range.
Guests travelling on all Tourvest Destination Management’s multi-day tours are giving back to the planet, people and wildlife through a donation to Green Seat. All scheduled guided tours are available on free sell.
The following new scheduled guided tours are available for travel from November 1, 2019.
Nine-Day Taste of South Africa
An experience of either Johannesburg or Soweto combined with an authentic safari experience at the world-renowned Kruger National Park; local cuisine along the Garden Route, Cape Town city, winelands and Peninsula.
The experience includes:
- One night in Sandton with a Johannesburg city or Soweto experience
- Two nights in a tented camp in the Kruger National Park
- Big Five game giving in a safari vehicle
- Journey through the Garden Route, with one-night at a beach hotel and one night in Oudtshoorn
- Two nights across Cape Town city, winelands and Peninsula
This scheduled guided tour departs three times a month on selected Fridays, and is available on 30-day free sell. Four open-safari vehicle game drives and a full-day Cape Town experience (covering the Peninsula, winelands and city sights) are included, and all other excursions are optional, giving the traveller flexibility tailored to their budget.
Taste of Cape Town Full Day/Taste of Gauteng Full Day
Full-day dual-language (English and German) guided tours with daily departures from Cape Town and Johannesburg.
Taste of Gauteng
Explores the sights of Pretoria from the Union Buildings, taking guests to Church Square; explores historic places in Soweto; admires the artists of Maboneng; visits Constitution Hill for an informative tour; and takes in the views of Johannesburg. Guests discover all the sights and tastes that Johannesburg and surrounds have to offer, in a day.
Taste of Cape Town
A journey across the Cape Peninsula followed by an interactive visit to a Constantia wine estate, before seeing the famous city sights of Cape Town. See, experience and taste the best of what Cape Town has to offer, in a day.
Both tours are available on a private guided basis and other foreign-language tour guides are available on request. These tours aim to attract clients wanting the safety and convenience of being guided by an expert tour guide showcasing the city highlights in a day.
Flexible Guided Kruger Safari
This scheduled guided tour offers visitors flexibility to explore the Kruger National Park. This guided safari offers daily guaranteed departures from Johannesburg to Kruger National Park and back, guests are accommodated in a tented safari camp in the Kruger National Park, inclusive of breakfast, dinner and two game drives per night stay. There are no maximum stay restrictions and tour commentary is either dual-language (English and German), or English or German. The Flexible Guided Kruger Safari is the perfect add-on to any other touring component.
Five-Day Winelands and Garden Route Discovery
A five-day guided discovery of the secluded Cape Winelands, the road less travelled, Garden Route sites and guest house and boutique hotel hospitality experiences. Travellers can enjoy a Stellenbosch walking tour, travel over Baineskloof Pass, enjoy a cheese and wine pairing and a wine cellar tour along the world’s longest wine route, board a tractor tour on a working ostrich farm, walk in the Cango Caves and an experience crossing the Storms River suspension bridge. These are just a few of the tour highlights. Selected dual-language (English and German) monthly departures from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth.
Guests are accommodated in guest houses or boutique hotels. The tour is also available on a private guided or self-drive basis.
