Compared to other airports worldwide, OR Tambo International now has the world’s largest whisky and wine collection for seasoned connoisseurs and casual drinkers. The bar’s extensive menu features whiskys from around the globe alongside a curated selection of wines highlighting South Africa's renowned viticultural regions. Whether guests are seeking to explore new flavours or indulge in their favourite drinks, Bottega provides an experience tailored to every palate.
The chic and inviting design is another exceptional feature. The space is also elevated with portraits of the country’s legendary jazz artists by renowned South African photographer Siphiwe Mhlambi.
The Bottega Whisky & Wine Bar vision was brought to life by Saverio Cardillo, the entrepreneur behind the acclaimed Bottega restaurant in Parkhurst. With over a decade of experience in hosting whisky tastings, Saverio channelled his passion and expertise into creating a venue that offers an authentic Bottega experience within the bustling environment of an international airport.
