The Kraalbaai Precinct of West Coast National Park (WCNP), north of Cape Town, has received environmental approval to proceed with an upgrade to the public and park facilities.
The work will include new ablutions facilities, an office, and resurfacing of the car park – all of which aim to improve the visitor experience in the area.
The upgrade commenced on January 21, and is estimated to take 11 months to complete.
Filming options available at WCNP will be affected during the infrastructure upgrade, however organised events will still be active unless requiring the use of the Kraalbaai parking area.
The park will be closed from December 8, 2019, for all filming, functions and events, and will reopen on January 13, 2020.
