Zambezi Cruise Safaris will commence new weekly cruises next year, as well as upping frequencies.
New weekly cruises from Victoria Falls are set to launch, with a dedicated vessel to run the two- to three-night Sengwe and Rusi River cruises (from the Binga-Victoria Falls end of Lake Kariba). There will be weekly departures for most of the main safari season based on a Wednesday departure for the two-night cruises and a Saturday departure for the three-night cruises.
During 2018, charter cruises to the bays and creeks of Matusadona National Park from Kariba town will operate at any time with groups of six or more people.
Guests will also have the option of joining scheduled departures to Matusadona twice a month, with set departures between May and October. Additional dates and itineraries for any operator with a group of six or more can be added if required. These cruises can also be linked to any of the other lodges, camps, operations or suppliers on Lake Kariba in Mana Pools.
The company’s full lake cruises will also have regular set departures from Binga and Kariba town for individual travellers, providing a two- or three-night lake safari experience as part of a trip incorporating both Victoria Falls/Hwange and Mana Pools.
