An African Anthology is set to open a new lodge, Royal Delta Lodge, on March 1 2017 in the Okavango Delta, Botswana, between the Selinda and Vumbura River systems. The lodge will overlook a permanent lagoon and the open plains beyond, ensuring optimal game and bird viewing.
The lodge will have 10 canvas suites, which include a family suite and two honeymoon suites, each with air-conditioning, a private swimming pool, fireplace, and en-suite bathrooms with outdoor shower.

A variety of dining experiences include the sunken boma, themed rooms, in-room private dining, communal dining and bush dining. Meals are created by the resident executive chef, pastry chef and sous chef. Activities include morning, afternoon and night game drives, star gazing, boat cruises, mokoro trips, fishing and optional extra horseback safaris.
“The lodge may be accessed by light aircraft transfer to its own private landing strip, which may be booked with the lodge directly. For guests who are photographically inclined, the lodge will offer a converted aircraft, specially designed for scenic photographic flights,” says An African Anthology Sales and Marketing Manager, Ruth Bassett.
