Nimali Central Serengeti, a tented camp close to Makoma Hill in the Serengeti, Tanzania, recently opened its doors.
The camp offers seclusion and easy access to the annual migration and the Big Five. Nimali Central Serengeti has been designed to exert minimal impact on the environment, and is fitted with solar power and a generator for back-up.
Accommodation comprises six tented suites, each fitted with rain showers, a vanity with double basins, writing desk, multiple charging points, fixed wooden doors and Persian carpets.
The private verandas outside each tent provide views of the Serengeti plains.
There is a pool on the property, a boma and fireplace and complimentary WiFi. A spa service is available.
The lounge and dining area overlook the plains. Guests can enjoy sundowners, guided game drives and hot-air balloon flights, champagne bush breakfasts, bush lunches and bush dinners at the camp.
The camp is an eight-hour drive from Arusha, an hour by air from Arusha airport, and a 40 minute drive from Seronera airstrip.
