The government of Zimbabwe has announced a revised visa regime in a bid to unlock the potential of the tourism industry and facilitate travel.
Department of Immigration Principal Director, Clement Masango, said revised visa regime would see 29 countries being moved from Category C to Category B.
Speaking at the National Tourism Strategy Workshop held in Victoria Falls this week, Masango said with immediate effect India, Ethiopia, Romania, Panama and Mexico, among others, will now be on Category B regime which allows tourists to be issued with a visa on arrival.
Category C required tourists to obtain the visa before travelling.
Zimbabwe Tourism Authority said a full list of the 29 countries would be made available soon.
