To expand its footprint in the tourism sector, Zimbabwe hotel group, Rainbow Tourism recently launched a tour operations arm, Heritage Expeditions Africa, which also operates an adventure park, Heritage Adventure Park in Harare.
Heritage Expeditions Africa offers city tours, as well as tour packages covering tourist attraction centres in Zimbabwe, such as the Victoria Falls, Hwange National Park, the Eastern Highlands, Kariba, Masvingo, Mana Pools and Gonarezhou, among others.
Harare packages include the inner-city tour (the Kopje Skyline view, historic buildings along Robert Mugabe Road, National Railways of Zimbabwe, Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe, National Art Gallery, Africa Unity Square and National Botanical Gardens), Mukuvisi Woodlands, Mbare Township, Haka Game Park, Lion and Cheetah Park, Mbizi Game Park, Domboshava Caves and Epworth Balancing Rocks.
“We procured a consignment of six 20-seater buses in May this year, which will be used for tours and transfers around the country,” Rainbow Tourism Group CE Tendai Madziwanyika says.
