This week’s picture comes from South African Airways, who flew Miss Universe, Zozibini Tunzi between New York and Johannesburg on its new Airbus A350-900.
In a statement, the airline said Tunzi’s “sparkling presence aboard South African Airways Flight #204 added excitement to the 15-hour journey”.
“SAA is more than an airline, we – as is Zozibini - are African first. We are a proud carrier of Africa’s hopes and dreams and its unlimited potential, which leaves us bursting with pride as we welcome our daughter back home and celebrate her global success,” said Zuks Ramasia, SAA Acting CEO.
“Our crew described the opportunity to fly a South African-born Miss Universe as one of their proudest and most memorable experiences; one that will remain an indelible highlight in their careers,” said Ramasia.
