Travel trade buyers can now register to attend the Spotlight Virtual TravelExpo, scheduled for September 30.
MD of Houston Travel Marketing, Derek Houston, reported an “astounding” response from African suppliers to participate at the first expo, with 38 confirmed exhibitors.
“We are going to be extremely strict with visitor registrations,” said Houston. “Only bona fide buyers – travel agents, regional and outbound tour operators, incentive DMCs and corporate travel planners – will be allowed to attend as we want to ensure quality meetings.”
Exhibitors represent hotel groups, airlines, tour operators, resorts, conference centres and safari lodges from 15 different countries in Africa and the Indian Ocean islands.
Buyers can book up to 32 pre-scheduled meetings with exhibitors and attend seminars and presentations.
