Angolan airline, TAAG, has announced plans to launch flights to Madrid, Spain which will be the airline’s third destination outside the African continent.
TAAG spokesperson, Maserlina Tavarich, said the flights will commence from June 30 and outbound flights (Luanda) are scheduled for Thursdays and Sundays while inbound flights (Madrid) will be on Fridays and Mondays.
TAAG will deploy a Boeing 777-300 aircraft on the route. Flight DT680 will depart from Luanda at 21h00 and arrive in Madrid at 05h15 the next day. Return flight DT681 will depart Madrid at 23h55 and arrive in Luanda at 06h25 the next day.
The airline also flies to South Africa, Namibia, Mozambique, Portugal and Brazil.
