The US is solidifying its position as South Africa’s top international source market, recording 28 207 arrivals in June – more than double that of the UK in second place (12 301 arrivals).
According to the latest Tourism and Migration Statistics from Stats SA, a total of just over 1.7 million travellers (arrivals, departures and transits), passed through South Africa’s ports of entry/exit during the month.
Notably, India was South Africa’s third-largest international source market for the month, with 5 568 arrivals, followed closely by Germany with 5 385 arrivals.
