UK-based independently owned specialist tour operator, Newmarket Holidays, has added a new Africa itinerary to its 2023 guided holiday schedule as part of its ongoing expansion on the continent. The new itinerary is the first one offered by Newmarket in Zimbabwe.
On Safari in Victoria Falls is a 10-day itinerary featuring both land- and river-based adventures. The itinerary will depart from Heathrow and will be available between September and December next year, according to the Newmarket website.
Included is a tour of Victoria Falls with an optional helicopter flight, cruises on the Chobe and Zambezi rivers, morning, lunch, and evening safari drives in the Zambezi National Park and the Chobe National Park, and a vulture culture experience that gives travellers the opportunity to witness hundreds of vultures feeding.
Accommodation for the itinerary is at Lokuthala Lodge in Zimbabwe. Prices start at £2 755 per person, and include seven nights at the lodge, airport-hotel transfers, seven breakfasts and dinners and two lunches, return flights between the UK and Zimbabwe, and a number of the activities.
