Luanda’s new international airport, António Agostinho Neto International Airport, is due to start passenger operations later this year.
TAAG Angola Airlines was originally expected to start domestic passenger operations at the airport in March (and international passenger operations were due to start mid-July), but all passenger operations have been delayed to the last quarter of this year, reports Angolan website, angop.ao.
The new airport has two double runways and can accommodate 15 million passengers a year.
