NH Sandton makes key new appointments
NH Sandton has announced two appointments to its leadership team: Don Jesseman joins as the new General Manager while Donaldson Madubela takes on the role of Executive Chef.
Jesseman comes to NH Sandton from Indaba Hotel, Conference and Spa where he managed the 260-room property. During his time at Indaba, Jesseman drove business growth while leading operations, strategic sales and marketing long-range planning. His customer and relationship skills resulted in the hotel receiving superior customer service satisfaction scores for five consecutive quarters.

Madubela joined the team from Level Four Restaurant at 54 On Bath. His experience in leading award-winning kitchens will elevate the hotel’s dining experience, offering guests innovative and exquisite cuisine.

Jesseman and Madubela will both play vital roles in enhancing NH Sandton’s reputation for operational excellence and guest satisfaction. Jesseman will focus on optimising operational efficiency while Madubela will lead the hotel’s culinary team.
Joburg Tourism welcomes new senior manager
Joburg Tourism recently announced the appointment of Khanyisa Ngewu as Senior Manager: Destination Marketing and Events.
Ngewu brings 18 years of experience in communication, public relations and stakeholder management across the public and private sectors. Throughout her career, she has led high-level communication strategies, public relations campaigns and media relations efforts, making her a valuable leader in her field.
Before joining Joburg Tourism, Ngewu served as Director of Public Relations and Communications at the National Skills Fund for six years where she managed internal and external communication. She also spearheaded the development of NSF’s first standalone website and coordinated the ministerial launch of the Apprenticeship Centres of Specialisation Programme.
Her public service background is backed by 12 years of consulting experience for public and private clients.
New chapter at Vergenoegd Löw
