OurAfrica.Travel 2025 is now live with buyers and exhibitors actively networking and scheduling meetings ahead of the virtual trade show from February 17-21.
A new feature this year is Story Series from February 11-14. Hosted by industry veteran Colin Bell, it will explore key topics affecting the African tourism sector, including sustainability and conservation. Bell will be joined by guests who have played a role in shaping the industry, offering insights into challenges and opportunities.
“Story Series started off as a simple idea to create a platform to dive a little deeper into showcasing some trade suppliers who make a difference,” said Allie Hunt, Co-Founder of OurAfrica.Travel. “Jonathan Robinson from Bean There Coffee Company and Emma Borg from Painted Wolf Wines sprung to mind! One conversation with Colin later and we had the Story Series concept. Shortly thereafter, Colin had a lineup of 10 people to interview!”
The programme will also feature live webinars focusing on emerging industry trends, including the role of artificial intelligence in tourism, with insights from David Ryan, Chief Executive Officer of Rhino Africa, and Natalia Rosa, Founder of Big Ambitions. Sammy Kelly, Head of Product Development for The Travel Hub Collection, will also present daily webinars.
Registration for the Story Series opened today (February 7) and is exclusive to show participants. While exhibitor registrations are closed, buyers and media can register until February 14 via the OurAfrica.Travel website.
