The Tokai Forest picnic site has been temporarily closed due to a disruption in water supply, which has rendered the ablution facilities out of service.

Cyclists are still permitted to use the picnic site’s parking area.

Visitors are encouraged to use alternative picnic areas including Newlands, Oudekraal and Silvermine.

Authorities have apologised for any inconvenience caused by the closure and will provide updates when the site is ready to reopen.
