Close to a quarter (23%) of readers polled by Tourism Update last month (up 5% from August) earned 100% of their salary in September, while around 22% took home between 60% and 99% of their regular monthly income.

A whopping 39% earned less than 60% of their salary in September, with total of 17% remaining unemployed as a result of COVID-19.
