Woodlane Hotel has opened in Gaborone, Botswana.
Marketing Officer, Gorata Ollyn, told Tourism Update the hotel had opened ahead of schedule due to shortage of accommodation in town.
‘’It was a bit of a rushed opening due to most hotels in Gaborone being fully booked at that time, so a lot of guests were referred to us,’’ she said.
Woodlane Hotel offers 53 en-suite standard rooms, four executive rooms and two family rooms. Each standard room is equipped with an LED TV, air-conditioner, free WiFi and a coffee station. The executive rooms also offer a separate lounge and kitchenette with bar fridge and microwave. The family rooms have two bedrooms, one with twin beds and the other with a king-size bed, as well as a lounge and personal kitchenette.
The hotel has conferencing facilities that can take up to 100 delegates.
Woodlane Hotel is adjacent to the lifestyle centre, Riverwalk Mall, and is a five-minute drive from the city centre and about 25 minutes from Sir Seretse Khama Airport.
