Federal Airlines (Fedair) will take over full operational control of Odie Air (PTY) Ltd, which offers lodge hops and exclusive private charters out of Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport.
Odiellia Latre, CEO of Odie Air, joined the Fedair team as Client Relations Manager for the Lowveld region, effective February 1.
“We have decided that it would be in our mutual interests and the interests of you, our valued partner, friend and industry colleagues, that full operational control of Odie Air be taken over by Federal Airlines,” said Latre in a statement.
“Our business has evolved rapidly over the last year, so too have the requirements of the industry itself. The scope and requirements of the role of the joint venture between Odie Air and Fedair has shifted over the course of the last eight months. The joint venture has been successful due to the merger of skills and a common passion for what we do. This has been well received in the industry, and our objectives have been realised, as envisaged by both parties.”
Fedair will take over all responsibilities and operational control of Odie Air, with all bookings and charters already booked and confirmed with Odie Air now operated by Fedair.
